CATHOLIC WEDDING CANDLES

The Bride and Groom light main the ceremony candle with the two long taper candles which represents their lives being joined as one. The family unity candles are lit by a family representative of the Bride and Groom and symbolises the blending of both families. Traditionally the main candle and two smaller tapers is all that is required for the ceremony although in Catholic Weddings today the family unity candles have become part of the ceremony. We have included the option of purchasing the unity candles separately.
