ORTHODOX WEDDING CANDLES

Traditionally two candles are required for the Orthodox Wedding Ceremony. The candles are lit as a reminder that Christ is the, “Light of the World”, and for the couple so they may not walk in darkness but have the, “Light of Life”. 

They are dressed and decorated with tulle, ribbon, flowers or other embellishments.
